Event Staff Application
Role details
In this role, staff will manage the entry of patrons at the event. This role is essential for the event success as it will ensure a smooth, orderly entrance for patrons and manage the flow of attendees. Staff must be enthusiastic and welcoming to ensure patrons have a good initial experience at the event. This position is a one-off contract role only.
Staff will work in teams of 4- 8, with friends at request.
Seat, water & shade provided.
Paid as per Amusement, Events and Recreation Award [MA000080], Grade 2, casual employee.
Shift times range from 2hrs to 6hr (with breaks).
Key responsibilities
- Inform patrons of the cost of admission & process payments.
- Provide stamp to those leaving on the way out.
- Ensure all pet owners have filled out a registration form.
- Provide directions, answer questions and inform management of any issues.
-Thank patrons leaving the event and encourage them to visit next year.
- Follow instructions provided by event director and manager.
- Work as a team with other employees and volunteers within the team when processing payments and stamping customers.
- Communicate and respect other staff/volunteers within the team.
