The Old Bar Beach Festival has been hosting Kombi Fest for over 20 years!

 

Kombi Fest features the much-loved Kombi Parade on Saturday and, on Sunday, an exciting attempt to break the Australian record for the most Kombis in one place.

When we say Kombis, we mean any VW from the light commercial range, from a classic T2 Splitty right through to the ID. Buzz.

And don’t worry, there’s room for Beetles, Ghias, and other classic VWs too, with all classic vehicles welcome to roll into the Old Bar Classic on Saturday.

  • Kombi Parade (Saturday): Join the iconic car parade as it assembles on the airstrip from 2:00 pm - 3:45 pm.

  • Sunday Kombi Fest: Check-in from 7:00 am until 12:00 pm.

  • Prizes: Multiple cash prizes up for grabs, with the presentation held on Sunday afternoon.

  • Registration: $7, open closer to the event date

  • Dress Up & Have Fun: Fancy dress is encouraged!
