Kombis and Classics are at the heart of the event! On the week of the festival Old Bar comes alive with the sound of Kombis, VW'S and classics from all over the nation, cruising through the streets. Each year we attempt to break the Australian record of the number of kombis gathered in one place set by us. In 2024, the event will include a scooter display. Check out the birds eye view video below plus a list of kombi related activities!
Kombi Cruise
Join us in your Kombi, VW or whatever vehicle you own, for one of cruises leading up to the festival and experience the beautiful scenery the Barrington Coast has to offer!

Kombi Parade
Partake in our massive Kombi cruise on the Saturday afternoon of the festival.
You can except to see well over 300 Kombis cruisn'.
Kombis leave from the festival site, drive to the end of Old Bar Rd and loop back round.
The Saturday Kombi Parade is a highlight for both spectators and participants.

Kombi Record Display
On Sunday, Kombis and VW's gather at old Bar to break the Australian record. Come down and see our record- breaking display of unique and treasured Kombis.
Register your Kombi on the day for a chance to win prizes!
Old Bar Classic
Our display of Classic cars, Beetles, scooters and bikes is held on the Saturday of the festival .
From veteran to modern street machines and motorcycles, there is a wide variety displayed.
Register your Classic vehicle on the day to win prizes including sponsors choice and lucky door!
You might just find some inspiration for that project waiting in the back shed...
