Old Bar Beach Fesitival holds the Australian record for the most Kombi/Transporter's gathered in one area at one time.

We were able to stroll around and chat with many other Kombi "lovers".From here we had easy access for the weekends activities, we also picked up some parts from the swap meet that's part of the weekend. We would recommend this as a fun thing for anyone looking for something interesting to do over the October long weekend."
Each year a Kombi/Transporter World Record attempt is an integral part of festival celebrations and is held on the Sunday of the October Long Weekend.
Kombi/Transporter owners are also encouraged to bring along their spare parts to participate in our annual swap meet which is held in conjunction with this event.
